Red Hot Arts has brought me on as Artistic Director

By Ben Fox | Collaboration, Event Design, Peer Learning, Press, Red Hot Arts | 0 comment | 27 April, 2016 | 0

I’m delighted to announce the Board of Red Hot Arts  has appointed me to the role of Artistic Director.

Red Hot Arts fosters arts in Central Australia and their signature event is the Desert Festival, celebrating layered cultural landscapes of inland Australia.

“Ben Fox is the best leader to take Red Hot Arts program, including the stellar Desert Festival to the next stage. I’m confident Ben Fox’s artistic leadership and experience in the desert will see him create a fresh program, connect artists with audiences and enhance Central North Australia’s great reputation as a culturally exciting place to live and visit.” Says Jason Quin, Chair of Red Hot Arts

Thanks Jason!  The Desert Festival is an icon. I’m excited to continue my sustained support and development of arts and culture in Australia and this opportunity to focus on Alice and inland Australia. In our climate of widespread disruption and change, inland Australia offers incredible experiences and value for the world.

Come spend some quality time in timeless Alice Springs and experience more of  incredible inland Australia soon.

Red Hot Arts is supported by the Northern Territory Government, The Sidney Myer Fund and Screen Territory.
