I’m excited to be one of the 11 appointments to the Minister’s Creative Council announced today by Minister for the Arts and Cultural Events in the ACT, Gordon Ramsay.
Led by Genevieve Jacobs as Chair and Jack Lloyd as Deputy Chair, the Minister’s Creative Council is all about advancing the arts in the Australian Capital Territory.
The Minister’s Creative Council advises the ACT Government on arts and cultural sector issues relevant to policy development.
“The combined diverse experience and strong community ties of the Minister’s Creative Council will deliver great outcomes for Canberra’s arts sector, I would like to congratulate all appointees. I am looking forward to working with this group as an important conduit between the Arts community and the ACT Government,” Minister Ramsay said.
Other members include, Andrew Galan, Megan Hinton, Liz Lea, Tamzin Nugent, Adelaide Rief, Michael Sollis and Sia Ahmad, and Jilda Andrews representing the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Network.
