Digital cultures foster intercultural creativity, promoted by the NBN

    By Ben Fox | Publication | 0 comment | 21 October, 2011 | 0

Digital cultures, the Internet, replication and copying systems allow clear manifestations of the concept that wonderful things can come from intercultural practices and frameworks.

If we use an intercultural framework in National Cultural Policy and discussions, concepts like sharing, collaborative development, open source, crowd-sourcing, user editable wiki, creative commons and cross-generational suddenly make much more sense. We are discovering new paths, forging innovative tools, and enriching our original cultures.

As the NBN grows across Australia, it will foster intercultural spaces and creativity. The National Cultural Policy is well positioned to foster these positive changes.
